1. Where do you escape to when you’ve had enough?
This depends on the day and the situation, I guess! Sometimes I will just go up to my office, turn on the TV, and “play” on the computer. Other times, if the weather is nice, I will go for a ride in the countryside. Or maybe I will go get a pedicure. Or just sit out on the back deck, open a book, and proceed to fall asleep. Sleep is a great mechanism for me 🙂

2. What shows are you watching this fall?
We record lots of shows and then watch them while we eat dinner in the evening. Off the top of my head, my favorites would be Desperate Housewives, NCIS, CSI Miami, and Big Bang Theory.

3. What was the longest road trip you’ve ever taken and where did you go?
We don’t take too many road trips…spent too many to count miles on the car driving 13 hours each way to upstate NY to visit the family over the years. We did take one long road trip a few years back through New England in October to see the beautiful autumn colors. That’s what I miss the most about the northeast. We spent a couple of days in Boston and that was a blast, and then came back to Ohio through Pennsylvania and stopped at Hershey…yummy! That year we spent Sweetest Day in the “sweetest city in the country”!
4. Do you plan on taking your kids to Disney World?
Well, Jeremy is 29 so probably not. We did take him when he was 4. Not sure who had more fun…him or us! (Of course, I broke my foot the day before we went and Bruce pushed me with Jeremy in my lap all over!) I would love one day to take my grandchildren there…when I get some 🙂
5. What is something people would surprised to know about you?
I always get stumped when asked this question. I’m pretty much an open book to my family and friends! I’ve lived in 4 different states…New York, Vermont, Illinois, and Ohio (wouldn’t trade Ohio for any one of them, either!). Oh…got one! I saved a baby from drowning in Lake Champlain when I was 13! Will that work?

Sorry I haven’t been blogging…I told you in the beginning I wouldn’t be good at it! I’ve got a couple of ideas sitting in the back of my brain, though. So hopefully you’ll hear from me again before too long!

Have a great weekend! Take a deep breath and forget about all the stressors you’ve encountered during the week. Hug the ones you love and take peace in the wonderful things and people around you.
